About this event

After feedback from partners and stakeholders around the world, QAA has refreshed its International Programme Accreditation (IPA) service to further strengthen its support for institutions and learners across the global higher education sector.

QAA’s new IPA service provides independent recognition that individual programmes meet internationally recognised standards and expectations. Developed to support institutions operating in an increasingly global higher education environment, this enhanced service offers a robust framework for benchmarking quality, strengthening academic reputation and demonstrating commitment to continuous improvement.

This session will introduce the redesigned IPA service, explore its key features and benefits, and explain how it can support institutions in achieving their international accreditation ambitions.

Join us for an engaging session exploring how programme accreditation can help institutions demonstrate excellence, build confidence among students and stakeholders and strengthen their position in competitive domestic and international markets. The webinar will examine the drivers behind the redesign, outline how the enhanced approach responds to the evolving needs of higher education providers and share insights into the strategic value of external, independent programme accreditation from the UK’s leading quality assurance body.

Designed for senior leaders, quality professionals and academic teams, the session will offer valuable perspectives on how QAA’s IPA can support quality enhancement, international recognition and academic partnership development.

This event is designed for higher education institutions looking to:

  • demonstrate programme quality against internationally recognised standards
  • enhance the reputation and visibility of their academic provision
  • support continuous improvement and programme enhancement
  • strengthen student confidence and stakeholder trust
  • develop and grow international collaborations and partnerships.

"This accreditation journey has been deeply transformational. It has strengthened our internal processes, elevated our international standing and affirmed the value of our programmes on a global stage. Since accreditation, we have established several collaborations with British universities, particularly the University of Leeds and the University of Liverpool."
